Sun network not invited for Arasu cable corporation meet
The Arasu cable corporation called upon a meeting of television channel representatives on Tuesday. In the meeting an ultimatum was given to the channel operators to offer free airing in districts. In Chennai the television channels already provide free airing but the districts had to pay subscription fee to view certain channels.
The Arasu Corporation chairman K Radhakrishnan informed the representative of the television channels that they should offer their channels for free else they will be excluded from the bouquet of channels.
Raj TV, ESPN, Star Sports and Zee TV accepted the deal while Sun Network was not invited for the meet reports clarify.
