Andhra election results: YSR Congress headed for clean sweep
The Andhra Pradesh State By Election June 2012 Counting of votes was
started on 15th June 2012 for the 18 Assembly Constituencies and 1
Loksabha election 2012.
The counting of votes is in process at 13 Centers arranged for the Vote Counting which started from 8 AM.
From the starting of the vote counting the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party leading the results and here we update with the trending results of the Andhra Pradesh By Election 2012 results for all the 18 Assembly seats.
YSR Congress won the seats comfortably with huge margin, particularly in
Rayalaseema region. YSR CP candidate G Srikantha Reddy from Rayachoti
won the seat by 56 thousand votes margin. In Polavaram, which is in West
Godavari, YSRCP candidate T Balaraju won the seat by a margin of 35
thousand.
From Allagadda and Rayadurgam, YSR CP candidates won the seats by a margin of 23, 24 thousand votes respectively. Other seats like Payakarao Pet, Macharla, Narasanna Pet, Prathipadu, Ongole, Udayagiri, Railway Koduru, Rajampet, Yemmiganuru, Ananthapur, Tirupathi seats have also gone in favour of the YSRCP candidates recording the lead somewhere between 10 thousand to 20 thousand votes.
The prestigious Nellore Lok Sabha constituency was also bagged by YSRCP. The contest, here,created interest because of the former minister T Subbirami Reddy, who contested the election on behalf of Congress, but lost. YSRCP candidate M Rajamohana Reddy won this constituency with a margin of 2,91,745 votes.
