20 Simple Home Remedies for Skin Tag Removal / how to cure maru

Skin tags are soft, non-cancerous skin outgrowths that may appear on various parts of the body. These are caused when the skin is rubbed against the skin. Skin tags usually occur on eyelids, neck, arms, lower part of the breast, and armpits. These fleshy outgrowths are very small in size and appear deformed in shape. Scientifically, skin tags are called as achrochordon. Skin tags can occur both in men and women. Instead of rushing to the doctor, skin tags can be easily removed at home by trying out some simple home remedies.

Causes
Skin tags are caused due to the accumulation of blood vessels and collagen in the thicker parts of the skin. This is mainly caused due to the rubbing of skin, which mainly occurs in skin folds and creases. Skin tags are mostly caused to people, who suffer from:

Home Remedies for Removing Skin Tags

1. Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil is one of the best natural methods for skin tag removal at home. Soak a cotton ball in water and then, put at least 2-3 drops of tea tree oil on it. Now, lightly rub it over the skin tag in circular motions. Repeat this daily at least twice a day for about a week until the skin tag completely vanishes.

2. Apple Cider Vinegar

This is one of the best home remedies for skin tags on the neck. Soak a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar and apply it over the skin tag. Use this remedy for about a month for complete removal of skin tag.

3. Onion Juice

Cut an onion, and leave it overnight in a vessel containing some salt. Extract the juice from it, the next morning. Apply this juice every night on the skin tag for at least 10-12 days. It will completely remove the tag.

 
4. Castor Oil & Baking Soda

This is an easy skin tag removal method. Mix baking soda and castor oil and form a thick paste. Apply this paste on the skin tag and cover it. Leave it for a night. Wash it with warm water, the next morning. Repeat this process for about 10 days until the tag totally vanishes.

5. Pineapple Juice

This is one of the simplest ways to remove skin tags on skin. Apply pineapple juice every day at least 2-3 times, but don’t rinse it off. Repeat it for at least 10 days, until the skin tag is completely scraped off.

6. Garlic

Apply garlic juice over the skin tag at least 2 times a day. But, make sure you change the garlic every time you put it on the skin tag.

7. Nail Polish

Nail polish is also a good way for removing skin tags at home. Cover the skin tag with nail polish, and let it dry. Repeat it for 2-3 times a day for a few days until the tag completely fades off from the skin.

8. Aloe Vera

Apply aloe vera juice and gently massage it on your skin tag. Repeat it daily. This is a good home remedy as it will help in eliminating the skin tag in a few days.

9. Lemon Juice

Soak a cotton ball in lemon juice and apply it over the skin tag. Repeat this remedy for a few days until the outgrowths completely vanishes.

10. Banana Peel

Cut a small piece of banana peel and place the inside part of it over the skin tag. Cover it firmly with gauze, and leave it overnight. Repeat this remedy daily until the skin tags fall off.

11. Duct Tape

Stick a duct tape to the skin tag for a continuous period of 10-12 days until the skin tag is completely removed. This is an effective home remedy to get rid of skin tags.

12. Tying off Skin Tags

This is a common home remedy to remove skin tags. Tie a thread or a dental floss a bit tightly around the skin tag. Now, cut the skin tag by using a nail cutter or scissors. This might sound painful to you, but it is not so. After removing the skin tag, apply an antibacterial cream over the place.

Note- Use a sterile nail cutter or scissors to cut the tags.


13. Vitamin E Capsule

Vitamin E capsules are also used for the removal of skin tags. Press a vitamin E capsule over the skin tag and rub it for some time. For best results, repeat this procedure at least twice for continuous ten days.

14. Ginger

You can also rub raw ginger on the skin tag. If repeated regularly for about 2 weeks, this remedy will help remove the skin tag permanently.

15. Fenugreek

Soak some fenugreek seeds in water for a night. Drink this water on an empty stomach, the next morning. Fenugreek is one of the best home remedies for the removal of skin tags.

16. Vegetable Juices

Mash a potato and a garlic clove. Chop some cauliflower. Extract the juices of all three and mix. Apply it on the skin tag. Keep applying this juice for a few days every night, until the skin tag completely vanishes. You can also put a dab of any of these vegetables on the tag in the night and wrap it with the bandage. Remove it in the morning. Practice it till the tag falls off.

17. Essential Oils

Mix 8 teaspoon of sesame essential oil with 1 teaspoon of oregano essential oil and ½ teaspoon of basil essential oil. Now, soak a cotton ball in this mixture and apply it on the skin tag. Let it be for 30 minutes, and then, wash it off with water. Use this remedy once in a day until you get rid of the skin tag from eyelids or face. You can also apply a combination of lime essential oil and avocado oil.

 
18. Potato

Place a slice of potato over the skin tag and cover it with a bandage. Potato helps to dry off the skin tag while removing it in a few days.

19. Dandelion Root

Apply the juice of dandelion root on the skin tag. Repeat the process for a few days until the lesion completely scrape off.

20. Aspirin

Dissolve an aspirin in a little bit of water. Now, apply this solution on the skin tag. This will dry the skin tag and let it fade off from the skin.
Anal Skin Tag Removal Ways

Anal skin tags or perianal skin tags is nothing, but skin tags around the anus. Anal skin tags are not painful, though it may be slightly itchy. Skin tags on anus can only be treated with the help of a doctor, but first it should be confirmed that it is a skin tag, and not a tag caused due to haemorrhoid.

Pregnancy Travelling Tips




Can you travel when you’re pregnant? Sure, traveling during pregnancy is usually safe but there are limitations.

Not too early: Some doctors will recommend you avoid traveling by plane in the early months, when miscarriage is most likely to happen, or if you have a history of miscarriage.

Not too late: Obviously you don’t want to fly too late into pregnancy as you wouldn’t want to go into labor on the road, or in the air for that matter. Airlines also don’t want you to go into labor on their watch and many of them don’t allow passengers who are close to their due date. Contact the airline to find out what their restrictions are before you book.

Safety first: You’ll have to wear a seatbelt when you travel, whether by air or land so purchase a lap belt extender if necessary or check to see if the airline has some available.

Circulate that blood: Use rest stops when on the road to take walks and keep your blood circulating. If you’re in the air, choose an aisle seat so you can get up and stretch a few times, it also puts you in a better position for bathroom breaks.

Bring snacks: You don’t always know when snacks will be available and if they’re something you want to eat, so bring your own snacks and stay on the schedule you’ve established.

How to reduce the acidity problem?

When you get up early in the morning then after you have completed the natural stuffs, then

just take a glass of chilled milk. This will really make your entire digestive track basic and as such will tremendously reduce the effect of acidity.

To avoid acidity do these things as well:-
1. Do not take oily food.
2. Do not eat junk food.
3. Take lot of salads and water rich food.

* Take some mint leaves and chop these and then boil in a cup of water and sip slowly after meals. If a person drinks Fresh mint juice every day he will never experience acidity. This is one of the useful home remedies for acidity.
* Jaggery or gur taken after every meal also helps to reduce the acidity. Keep a piece of gur in the mouth and slowly suck it till acidity decreases.
* Eating bananas is also helpful in preventing the symptoms of acidity and heartburn. To prevent acidity it is advised to eat a banana daily.
* A mixture of 2 tsp of natural apple cider vinegar and 2 tsp raw honey in a glass of water before meals fights with acidity.
* Basil (tulsi) leaves helps to get relief from burning, nausea and gas. Chew some leaves of tulsi to decrease the acidity.
* Coconut water 4-5 times a day decreases the symptoms of the acidity and the heartburn.
* Harad (Terminalia chebula) if taken after every meal prevents the symptoms of the acidity.
* 1 tsp juice of chebulic myroblan mixed with 1 tsp of amla (Indian gooseberry) juice helps to prevent acidity and heartburn.
* Another very effective home remedy for acidity is - Boil one cup of water. To this add 1 tsp of Aniseed (Saunf). Cover and leave overnight. Strain the water in the morning, add 1 tsp of honey. When this is taken 3 times a day it prevents acidity.
* To 1 ½ liters of water add 1 tsp Caraway seeds (shah jeera). Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes. Sip while warm. Take this liquid 2-3 times a day for 5-6 days. This is also very effective home remedy for acidity.
* Take a glass of water, add a pinch of baking soda and drink it. It gives immediate relief from acidity.
* Take a glass of warm water, add a pinch of hing (asafoetida) and have it every morning to prevent acidity.
* Eat a serving of cucumber or watermelon 4-5 times in a day to fight against acidity.
* Fennel helps to relieve abdominal pain, colon disorders, gas, and gastrointestinal tract spasms. It is an effective remedy for acidic stomach conditions (heartburn).
* Ginger is very useful for digestive disorders. It help to relieve indigestion from rich foods.
* Make a fine powder by adding equal amounts of ginger powder, black pepper, dried mint leaves, asafetida (hing), anise seeds, coriander seeds, cumin, fennel and common salt. Dosage: Take about 1 teaspoon of this powder with water, twice a day after meals. This is one of the best home remedies for acidity.
* It is advised to eat 8-10 glass to water daily. Drinking water gives immediate relief to symptoms like wind, distended stomach and acidity.
* Chewing bubble-gum also disappears the acidity. This is an easy and best way to get rid of Acidity.
* For heartburn drink a teaspoon of vinegar. It is because there is not sufficient acid in our stomach to digest food properly, thus gasses come back up and burn our stomach.
* Calcium also helps to fight with the heartburn and acidity. Yoghurt or ice-cream gives immediate relief from acidity and heartburn.
* 1 tsp juice of chebulic myroblan mixed with 1 tsp of amla (Indian gooseberry) juice daily relieves acidity. This is one of the important home remedies for acidity.
* Powder one clove and one cardamom; use the powder as a mouth freshener after every meal. No more acidity and no more bad breathe.
* After food maintain an upright posture to prevent the reflex and to prevent the symptoms of acidity.
* Sleep with your head and shoulder on a high pillow for elevation.
* Do not skip meals. Do not keep large gap between meals. This produces gas / wind.
* Eat dinner 2-3 hours before going to bed.
* Last but not the least stop smoking and cut down on alcohol.

How to reduce Acidity





Excess body acid or acidosis can be caused by what we eat and drink. If you have too much acid in your body, you can become ill or become susceptible to many conditions or diseases. In fact, there are more than 150 conditions that you may contract because of excess body acids. These may include kidney stones, heart disease, diabetes and arthritis. Additionally, you are susceptible to premature wrinkles, problems with your hormone levels and other possible age-related problems.

1.Maintain a healthy diet. A healthy diet should include limited sugars and carbohydrates. The normal diet of sugars, carbohydrates and meats can cause the body acidity. Your diet should include fruits and vegetables, which are full of nutrients.

2.Drink plenty of fluids. As with all healthy diets, you should always drink plenty of water.

3.Drink citrus juice. Although citrus juices have their own share of acid, the juices will aid in digestion and make you healthier and actually reduce some of the body acid.

4.Rest as needed. In fact, this can include sleeping more, performing deep breathing exercises, taking a yoga class or doing mediation. With rest, your body is able to regenerate, and it enhances digestion and the processing of acid.

5.Take antacids. An antacid can reduce stomach acids that may be causing problems, such as heartburn. There are over-the-counter medications for acid reduction. There are also specific pills such as Acid Redux, which is specifically made to reduce acid.

6.Take supplements. The use of some supplements can help reduce acid. For example, the use of 1,000 mg of vitamin C and calcium tablets can assist with acid.

Nails - Health and Disease





Changes in the nails could be sign of a disease. Nail changes are rarely the first clue of serious illness. Subtle variations in the texture, colour provide important clues.





"Just like the eyes are the window to the soul, so are the nails," says Tamara Lior, MD, a dermatologist with Cleveland Clinic Florida.. A number of health problems have an impact on the nails. Subtle variations in the texture or colour or shape can provide important clues to the trained eyes.

Changes in the nails could be a sign of a local disease (like a fungus infection) or a systemic one like anaemia. Patients rarely visit a doctor to report nail problems. Hence most nail changes are noticed during examination of a patient.


1. Yellow discoloration in fingernails

Yellow nails occur in a condition called Yellow Nail Syndrome. In this condition, along with yellow nails, the patient also has pleural effusion (collection of fluid within the covering of the lungs) and lymphedema. The pleural effusion may be associated with lung diseases such as chronic bronchitis

Nails thicken and new growth slows, resulting in discoloration; they may detach from the nail bed in places

A person may have yellow nails and yet have no serious illness. Yellow nails may also be associated with fungal infection or overuse of nail polish.

2. White nails (leukonychia)

Conditions like chronic liver disease, nephrotic syndrome, protein malnutrition (kwashiorkor) which cause loss of albumin result in white nails



3. Pitting of nails

Small depressions in the nails commonly occur in psoriasis; it may also be due to nail injuries

Conditions where the nail cuticle gets damaged also cause pitting. These conditions include chronic dermatitis of fingers, alopecia areata (an autoimmune disease)

4. Clubbing of nails

Here tips of the fingers enlarge and nails curve around fingertips.

Clubbing can be due to a large number of causes affecting various systems of the body, especially respiratory conditions

Clubbing can also be occupational

Inflammatory bowel disease, cardiovascular disease and liver disease are other common causes


5. Half-white, half-pink nails may point to a kidney disease

6. Irregular red lines at the base of the nail fold (Nail fold erythema and telangiectasia) signify conditions like systemic lupus erythematosus, other connective tissue diseases and vasculitis

7. Pale or white nail beds are usually due to anaemia

8. Spoon nails (koilonychia)

Nails look scooped out

Koilonychia is sign of chronic iron deficiency anemia. Nails become brittle, flat and eventually spoon-shaped

9. Terry's nails

Nails are opaque with a dark band at the tip

Terry’s nails could be due to aging

Serious conditions associated with Terry’s nails are: Congestive heart failure, diabetes, liver disease, malnutrition

10. Beau's lines

These are transverse white grooves which appear at the same time on all nails shortly after a severe illness and which move out to the free margins as the nails grow

They arise due to temporary arrest of nail growth

11. Onycholysis

Fingernails become loose and separate from the nail bed.

This could be due to injury or infection, psoriasis, thyroid disease, drug reactions, reactions to nail hardeners or acrylic nails

12. Splinter haemorrhages

These are small vertical reddish to reddish brown lines seen under the nails.

Multiple splinter haemorrhages should raise the suspicion of infective endocarditis.

These are however common in healthy manual workers due to rough use of their hands

13. Fungal infection (onychomycosis)

This usually causes thickening of nails

Whitening or yellowing of the nail plate can also occur



Nail care tips for healthy nails




  • We should mix a tea spoon of olive oil in warm water and soak the nails in that mixture for 20 minutes. Doing in this way, we can increase the smoothness of the nails.
  • We should soak the nails in a mixture of warm water and a tea spoon of lemon juice for 20 minutes. We should apply the moisturizer after that and we should do this when we see some scratches on the nails.
  • We should rub the nails with towel after washing hands and taking bath so that the nails are dry. After that we should apply hand cream or lotion on the nails.
  • We should apply the remover with cotton before applying nail polish to the nails.
  • If we place the cotton on the edge of the nails and apply nail polish, it looks good.
  • We should apply the hand cream on the palms before sleeping and do massage for better blood circulation.
