Rajini admitted in Hospital Rajinikanth Hospitalized

Rajinikanth admitted in Isabella Hospital Chennai.

Tamil film superstar Rajinikanth was today admitted to a private hospital here following dehydration and exhaustion, hospital sources said.

The 60-year-old-actor reportedly vomitted and was later admitted to Isabel Hospital where he was treated for exhaustion and dehydration, the sources said.

Meanwhile, the shooting for his latest film 'Rana', in which he stars in a triple role, went on the floors today.

During the mahurat of the film at AVM Studios today, Rajini did look slightly out of sorts. However, the 60-year-old superstar participated in the pooja and even gave the mahurat shot. But by afternoon, he was visibly unwell.

He was rushed to Isabella Hospital in Mylapore where the doctors gave him necessary treatment. He was reportedly suffering from dehydration and was also running a fever.

Rajinikanth’s wife Latha has said that the actor is doing better and there’s no reason for his fans to panic. The doctors have advised the actor to rest well and not strain himself too much.
