sadiq batcha was murdered ??? l CBI investigation Sadiq batcha - death is confirmed
CBI investigated Sadiq batcha death and Doctor confirmed sadiq batcha was murdered
Dr Dekal : Nobody should meet me, because it is all confidential work. You shouldn't be asking me about this, this is confidential.
Reporter : Sir at least from the investigative angle, tell me please. Is it murder or suicide?
Dr Dekal : Murder cannot be ruled out, but at the same time it's not a confirmed suicide either. I cannot reveal anything else on the case. Any other information can only be given by the authorities - I am not an investigating officer.
Reporter : What is AIIMS saying?
Dr Dekal : They didn't say anything. It's confidential - they just had some doubts and discussed some medical facts with me, that's all. I'm not allowed to say anything. Neither murder nor suicide has been ruled out.
Reporter : So murder hasn't bee ruled out?
Dr Dekal : No, that has to be done by the investigating officer. I can't rule out anything, please don't come to me regarding this anymore.
Reporter : Give us some more information please...
Dr Dekal : There's nothing else to say. This is the only thing that I can tell you - it can be either one (suicide or murder) - I can't decide on that, they have to do it. I can only help them with the process of deciding, I cannot say anything more on this. Please don't ask me anything about this.
Earlier in June 30, 2011 Dekal said, “Compression of the neck could be the reason for this asphyxia. But exactly whether the suicidal hanging mark is anti mortem or post mortem that is whether it happened before death or after death, it has to be confirmed only by mircoscopic examination. So once that result comes we will be confidently able to tell whether it's a case of hanging.”
Thirty eight-year-old Batcha, who was Managing Director of Greenhouse Promoters, a firm under the scanner of CBI and Enforcement Directorate in connection with the 2G spectrum scam, was found hanging in his house at Teynampet in South Chennai on March 16 by his wife and driver. Dr Dekal, who performed the autopsy, had said that Batcha's death was due to asphyxia and his body showed compression of the neck with hanging mark and that the cause of death cannot be confirmed till the forensic report was received.
Dr Dekal had put in his papers in the first week of March, saying he planned to contest the April 13 Assembly elections. In mid-March, he had moved the High Court seeking a direction to consider his resignation since no action was taken by the authorities concerned, following which the court had directed Director of Public Health to consider it and pass orders. However, on March 25, the state government rejected his resignation on grounds of shortage of staff and intimation on short notice.
